Asylum (2008-present)

Portraits of asylum seekers from around the world caught in the U.S. legal system. Since 2008, I've collaborated with Joanne Ahola, M.D. of Physicians for Human Rights who advocates for survivors of torture. Our interest spans all grounds for seeking asylum and most especially includes LGBTI asylum seekers. This portfolio also includes people from Somalia and Afghanistan resettled in Vermont.
